Dr. Maldonado has been a PI and has played a pivotal role in multiple international clinical trials, collaborating with global sponsors such as AbbVie, Bayer, and GlaxoSmithKline to advance treatments for diabetic nephropathy, chronic kidney disease, and anemia in dialysis and non-dialysis patients. Fluent in English and Spanish, he brings a patient-centered approach to care, blending advanced procedural skills in interventional nephrology with a deep commitment to medical innovation.
